DETAILS OF CASE REGISTERED IN DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE REFORMS AND PUBLIC GRIEVANCES Respected Sir, With most respect and deep request, please intimate present status/position of upgradation of LDC's/UDC's grade pay of Rs 2800/- and Rs 4200/- respectively wef 01-01-2006 due to the following:- (a)   6th Pay Commission, pre-revised pay scales 2550-3200, 2610-3540, 2610-4000, 2650-4000  2750-4400 in respect of erstwhile Group ‘D’ employees have been merged and grade pay has been fixed at 40% of the maximum of the pre-revised pay scale (i.e., Rs. 4400 x 40% = Rs. 1760/- rounded off to Rs 1800/). Likewise, Pay scales of 5000-8000, 5500-9000  6500-10500/- in respect of JEs / Office Supd / D’Man / MCM etc., have been merged and grade pay has been fixed at 40% of the maximum of the pre-revised pay scale (i.e., Rs. 10500/- x 40% = Rs. 4200/-).
